Hibernation vacation
My next investment is a pair of ice skates. Frozen ponds provide terrific arenas for horsing around. My pals and I skated 'round this pond (they on proper skates and I in warm, worn boots) in Southampton before visiting a bar for lunch and warming beverages.
A sloppy fifth position. I wonder what happens to all the fish...

Beautiful. And inconceivable. I've never once seen a body of water surrender to the cold.
Me neither. It was cool.
A dog tried to make his way across the pond, slipping and sliding but gingerly getting the job done.
That was the best part.
