Good ol' Rocky Top, woo

Kudos to L-rock for designing the fall version of SitB. Look at him! He's playing in the leaves!

Now that job season is over, I intend to post more often. Blogging tends to make me feel lonely (your guess is as good as mine), so consider that a non-commital commitment.

Craig and I recently returned from our trek to the Great Smoky Mountains. What a fantastic time. I've always wanted someone who can pack up a dorm in under an hour, cook like a champion, and take poorly planned trips with me and still have a blast. I'm in love. Thanks, Santa.

Day one to day three, I had a fever. I woke up drenched in infected sweat every night. Still, we were perfectly happy in front of the fireplace with the Mets game roaring and S'mores burning on a pizza pan in the oven. Our little log cabin was perfect. Pictures!

Have you ever seen anyone look so cute reading the paper on an airplane? I want to squeeze him and cover his face with an oxygen mask before covering my own.

The view from our porch was fantasmic. Despite the rampant tourism, our cabin was peaceful and quiet. And infested with restless ghosts, possibly of Native American descent. The owner, who we never saw nor spoke to, decorated the place with dreamcatchers and woven blankets. It was perfect for celebrating Columbus Day.

At Ripley's Believe It or Not! I had a hard time climbing into the big chair for a goofy photo op. The sexy, sexy photographer must have a thing for struggling midgets.
I'd post more, but Blogger won't let me right now. Ah well. Tomorrow is another day, maybe.

Your shoes are so cute I think I'm going to have to kill you.

Strangulation OK with you?

I prefer it, actually. Unless you're up for an old-fashioned stab in the back. I always envied those victims on Murder, She Wrote.

I have a pair with owls and a pair with llamas. Pick 'em up. They're Keds.
